The Renegades 94 went 3-0 in Pool Play and lost in the semi-final to Finish 3rd in the Phoenix ASA "Back to School" 16U tournament. The competition was intense and the girls showed very well to earn 3rd place...

13 is a manageable number --- Phoenix should show how well the team gel's...there are still 3 throwers and 2-3 catchers

Seems a little hickup for the Renegades 94. One of the projected starting catchers for them decided to call it quits. They were saying she was swinging the bat so well when it all came about. A real head scratcher. They still have 13 players to reorganize and head out to Phoenix to see how the mix plays.

New to this Board --- have all the bats and balls been put in deep freeze for the winter? What's up in the competitive world of 94 girls fastball? Surely their must be rumours or other news to discuss? Renegades 94 are off to Phoenix in January for a tournament...any other news? let the 2009 season get underway!

Lost a couple gained a couple. Stock piling draft picks and probably sending all juniors back. waiting for free agents from the mainland.

Slick, what can I say maybe you should of stayed longer. The talk around the league is that the Rens are all fired up by their new additions especially the tall dark haired pitcher who we are not allowed to name. Did you hear what the outcome of the states tourny was?

ONG, a little surprised with the JW initials. Not like a wily veteran to be putting names out on this site. Stopped by a Ren 94 practice the other day to check out the new players. Let me say that I was taken back by the new blood. Seems 3 new players from Fusion 94 team of last year have been chosen by the new head coach as well as a girl from Storm 94. Seems the center fielder from Ren 94 went to Storm and their girl came over to Ren. From what I saw the new coach has a lot of work in front...

I think the Z man got the short end of the stick. From what I hear and saw he is demanding, hard but fair. Isn't that what we look for in a coach?
